The first week at the new job went ok, although as is usually the case things are a little slow to begin with. Either way there is plenty of work out there at the moment, so nothing too much to be worries about.
Last week was a fantastic week of punting, with Northern Monkey producing some incredible results. Wayne is getting married this week and I am sure that the last 4 weeks have helped pay for the festivities.
Saturday was just one of those classic days, probably the best of the year so far. Breanski set the ball rolling with a gutsy 14/1 win at Doncaster, which was a relief after the first bet of the day Alaadel bombed out. This was followed by Dakota Gold producing a demolition job in the big sprint at Ripon at an early price of 7/1. The day got even better when the biggest bet of the day, Anna Bunina won the next at Ripon having drifted out to 11/4, which also landed a double with Dakota Gold. The day was capped off when Hartzadar cruised to victory at Ripon at 7/2. The only other bet was on Ripp Orf, who ran a cracker but was just touched off in second.
No bets again from Ben Linfoot, with the only other horse racing bets coming from Handicap Snip, whose only returns from 4 bets was a close second from Hyperfocus. Handicap Snip really needs to turn things around at York.
Golf results were ok, but nothing special as John Rahm landed a place return and Adam Scott won a decent bet when top Australian. An overall profitable week.
Scottish Football Bets having been so good last week, had a poor week with several matches going pear shaped in the closing minutes. For once my cashing out, worked as I took the money when Peterhead went 2-0 up.
The Rugby League yielded a small profit due to wins by the Bulldogs and Raiders.
It looks like being a busy week ahead, with the York Ebor Festival.
After the York festival I will provided comprehensive results.
