Week ending 11th August 2019
Another decent week for me, although it could really have been
a special one with a little more luck as a 3rd winner in Northern
Monkeys Trixie would have landed the jackpot and a big golf bet just couldn’t
get over the line.
My main man this week was the irrepressible Northern Monkey,
who landed his first maximum of the season when Victory Day absolutely hosed up
in the final race of the Shergar Cup, under a classic Spencer come from behind
win. Victory Day was adviced 9/4 ante post and in a double with Power of Darkness
who won at 4/1. If only Watchable had won, who was in a treble and doubles with
the afore mentioned winners. (Overall = +2494.50)
There were no bets from Ben Linfoot this week, so the only
other horse racing bets came from the disappointing Handicap Snip, who alas had
another 2 losers (Overall=-£1160).
Away from the horses Scottish Football Bets had another solid
weekend of profits with 3 winners (Overall=+£254)
Golf was disappointing as despite hitting the front and
trading odds on midway through the final round, John Rahm made back to back
bogies to eventually only finish 3rd and only pay out each way
(Overall=+£136)
I’ve started with another couple of tipsters, one who
provides Rugby League picks from the NRL and Super League and a Greyhound
tipster Called Top Dogs. Mixed results from these 2 this weekend, although I am
only playing to really low stakes. I’ll aim to include more details of these
tipsters if the trials are successful.
Anyway, I’ve started my new contract this week so I am a
little busy at the moment, so will have to cut this short, but hopefully can
provide a better review next week.
