November 4th

Good afternoon.

It’s still a relatively short update as the bathroom is still being renovated and hence with all the chaos, it’s difficult to make time for anything else, and as a result the blogs not been updated and I haven’t kept records for a few weeks. The good news is, the bathroom should be finally completed this week, and from looking at my accounts last weekend must have been decent.

It certainly was busy with loads of horse racing in both the Uk and the Breeders cup in the States, Rugby league, the end of the Rugby World Cup, and football from SFB.

The main triumph on the horses, was Ben Linfoot, who had a welcomed return to form with 2 winners out of 4, with the very lucky Diego Du Charmil at 12/1, and all the way winner Gumball at an early 10/1. It was the first betting day of the season for The Value Bettor who also tipped Diego Du Charmil at 9/1, to ensure a winning first weekend. Northern Monkey also had a steady but unspectacular weekend with a couple of winners. Handicap Snip was break even with his biggest single winning.

The other notable returns came from Scottish Football Bets (SFB), who had 4 winners out of 5, just as I was considering binning him off. As they say ‘Form is temporary, class is permanent’.

The main focus for the early part of this week is the Melbourne Cup, which takes place at the unearthly time of 4am on Tuesday morning. Northern Monkey has built up a nice position through singles and one successful double on Prince of Arran, so its fingers crossed on that one.

Anyway, I should now be in a position to start up my records again, which will commence next weekend, and I will post the figures on a weekly basis.
