Busy weekend punting, which was quite unexpected to be honest. I was meant to be helping my mum move house, but it was delayed until Monday.
Decent results, with the best winner being Antiquarium, tipped up by Paul Jones Ante Post service which screamed home at rewarding odds of 16/1. I again watched the highlights after an afternoon watching the euros in the Crown, Cheadle. Other winners on the day were Powerallied and Growl for Northern Monkey, whilst Horsetrader got back into the winners circle with Amazour winning at 13/2. Betalchemist always weighed in with Toscanini in Ireland as well. I find I can keep my composure and avoid chasing losses if I don't watch the action live, although I'd always make an exception for big festivals like Cheltenham and Royal Ascot.
The good news was, that I could keep my run up of not taking my wages out of my business account for another week, and help build up my fund in case I was out of work. It does kind of take the pressure off my punting if my finances are ok, and with the referendum vote potentially leading to unsettled times, I really need to do it as well.
This week I need to keep tight with my punting and not risk a blowout like on referendum day, and then hopefully I can have another decent week. I'll post my records after next weekend, and we can see what the situation it. As I said before I was trialling Northern Monkey and now I've taken the plunge of adding him to my portfolio, so from this week I'll be posting his results as well.
I have had a few bets on the weeks golf, last chance saloon for the Sporting Life's golf experts to be honest. If golf's bad this week though, I won't be betting on it again.
Have a good week !
